After an undergraduate degree in Land Economy at Cambridge University Richard began his career at Knight Frank in 1986 where he trained and qualified as a chartered surveyor and spent 10 years in a number of roles including as a development/investment surveyor, a Partner of Knight Frank Zimbabwe, where he focused on asset management and development, and latterly as Director Corporate Finance. After completing a Masters in Finance at London Business School he joined Cazenove & Co where he spent 6 years initially as Head of Real Estate Equity Research and latterly as a Director of corporate finance. In 2003 he joined Arbuthnot Securities serving as head of real estate investment banking before joining Squarestone in 2009 to head up its corporate finance and fundraising activities. He is Squarestone in 2009.
