Robert’s career spans over 23 years in both commercial and residential real estate.
During this time he has worked across a wide range of development and investment management opportunities, and has worked jointly with long-term business partner Tim Barlow for the past 15 years.
Robert focuses primarily on strategy and business generation. During his time with Tim he has been instrumental in setting up the F15 Partnership, Squarestone Central London LP, Squarestone Atlantic Regeneration, Squarestone Brasil and HUB.
Tim has over 25 years’ experience in commercial and residential real estate.
For the last 15 years, he has worked across a broad range of investment activities with long-time business partner Robert Sloss. During this time, the pair successfully created the F15 Partnership, Squarestone Central London LP, Squarestone Atlantic Regeneration, Squarestone Brasil and HUB.
Tim focuses on matters associated with fund structuring, real estate transactions and matters of compliance and project delivery.
Edward has almost three decades’ experience in global financial markets. He spent twenty years in investment banking and seven more in fund management. Roles included Global Head of Research at Commerzbank Securities, Head of Japan Sales at Jefferies & Co. and Head of Listed Investment Companies at LGT Capital Partners.
Edward oversees Squarestone’s interaction with its investors and is also responsible for human resource and compliance matters.
Hugo is responsible for the sourcing, analysis and execution of new opportunities.
Prior to joining Squarestone in January 2013, he worked for Cushman & Wakefield, most recently in the Central London Development team. Whilst there, he was involved in a number of high profile projects including the US Embassy’s move to Nine Elms and the redevelopment of Earls Court. Hugo has development experience in the residential, student, hotel and office sectors, predominantly in London.
Marcio has worked in corporate finance for over 15 years. Working for multinationals in the real estate, industrial and service sectors, he has a wealth of experience in analysis, funding structuring, financial planning, reporting and compliance, and more.
Marcio holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo, a BA in Accounting from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and a post-graduate degree in finance from the Getulio Vargas Foundation, São Paulo.
Lorna is an ACA qualified chartered accountant with over 5 years’ experience managing finance teams.
She qualified after 3 years of working in audit with subsequent experience working as Finance Manager for a housing association and then at a firm of architects.
Prior to joining Squarestone, Lorna was Head of Finance at the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy managing a team of 11. Key responsibilities included ensuring that the finance team provided a high quality customer focussed service and that key reporting requirements both internally and to statutory bodies were met.
Paul has over 15 years’ experience in commercial and residential real estate. Having started his career at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was a UK regional investment Associate Partner, he then founded Caledonian Asset Management & Investment, which he ran for 5 years prior to co-founding Squarestone Growth.
Paul is responsible for all aspects of the portfolio’s asset management.
Prior to joining in October 2015, Yasemin worked in the Landlord and Tenant, Agency and Valuation teams at DTZ. She also has experience in managing a commercial and residential portfolio in Turkey.
Yasemin holds an MSc in International Real Estate from Glasgow University and a BA Hons in Law and Sociology from the University of Strathclyde.
She is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the portfolio’s asset management.
Charlie joined Squarestone in November 2016 and assists with the sourcing and analysis of investment opportunities.
Previously, he worked for Strutt & Parker in both their National Investment and London Residential Development teams, acting on behalf of private and institutional clients on a wide variety of projects. He has also previously worked for Chase & Partners, focusing on London retail agency.
Charlie is a member of RICS and holds a BSc in Real Estate from the University of Reading.
Alice joined Squarestone in July 2018 as an Asset Manager in the Manchester office and is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the North West portfolio’s asset management.
Prior to joining, Alice completed the graduate rotation program at Jones Lang LaSalle gaining experience in the Commercial Valuation, Shopping Centre Management, Office Agency and Land & Development teams.
Alice is a member of the RICS and holds a BSc in Property Investment Management from the University of the West of England, Bristol.
Brad joined Squarestone in 2019 to oversee the portfolio’s development projects and capital expenditure. Previously, he has worked roles in both structural engineering and in project management consultancy. As such, he brings with him a breadth of experience in the planning and delivery of residential, mixed-use and aged care schemes.
Brad is a qualified chartered engineer, who holds both a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and first-class master’s degree in Management from the University of Auckland.
Prior to joining Squarestone in 2018, Callum worked across the Scottish, London and South East markets at GVA and, most recently, niche West End Consultancy Levy Real Estate.
Callum has five years experience in commercial agency and development and is responsible for all aspects of asset management within the portfolio.
Callum holds a Law Degree and MSc in Real Estate from Glasgow University.
Gordon specialises in financial modelling and asset management.
Prior to joining Squarestone in 2018, he gained experience at Aberdeen Standard Investments, Chris Stewart Group and Sundial Properties.
Gordon was awarded an MA in Economics & Finance and an MSc in Real Estate Management and Development with Distinction.
